Signing up for Paypal and getting your API Credentials
Before registering to use this website you must read and complete these instructions. You must have a Paypal Business Account or Paypal Premium Account to use most of this site's features, and these instructions will help you in getting a paypal account up and running, getting verified, and getting set up to use the Paypal API, which is required to sell prepaid rides.
Signing up for Paypal Business account
Signing up for a Paypal Business Account:Step 1:
Before you go online, make sure you have all of your business and financial information available. You will be required to supply the following for your business: account name (or owner name), address, customer service information, email, bank name, bank account and routing number.
Step 2:
Click here or the logo below to open Paypal in a new window to begin your registration process.

Step 3:
On the homepage, you should see the login box (shown below) with the text, "New to PayPal? Sign Up" click the words "Sign Up":

Step 4:
Select the Country (or region) of your business from the drop down box provided as shown:

Step 5:
Select the Language preference of your business from the drop down box provided.
Step 6:
Below the drop down boxes are the three PayPal Accounts, which are Personal, Premier and Business. Select the "Get Started” button located under the Business Account.

Step 7:
Select Website Payments Standard as the type of payment solution from the drop down box. 
Then Press
Step 8:
Select the
button on the page that opens, which shows the three-step process that is needed to set up your business account.

Step 9:
Fill in the required information pertaining to your business. Click the
button. Below is a sample form:

Step 10:
The next step is the Business Owner Contact Information form. Fill this out once more as well as setup your Username and Password. Be sure to select I Agree... and I have read... which is shown below:

Step 11:
After you have completed Step 10, you will be taken to the Business Account Signup form in which you will have to enter your Bank Account Information in the form as shown below:

Then click 
*Note you will need to verify your financial information as prompted by Paypal.
Requesting your Paypal API credentials
Once you have signed up for a Paypal Business Account, and have verified your financial information following instruction from paypal, you may request your Paypal API credentials and begin registering for this site.
Step 1:
Open paypal in a browser window or click the following link to do so.
Step 2:
Log in to your paypal account using the email address and password you provided during signup and fill in the form for 1 & 2 and then click Login.

Step 3:
Once logged in, click Profile, as shown below:
Step 4:
From the column for Account Information, click "API Access"
Step 5:
Select Option 2 for "Request API credentials to create your own API username and password." click View API Certificate.

Step 6:
Select "Request API Signature" and press "Agree and Submit" as shown in the example below:

Step 7:
Copy and paste the supplied API Password, API Username, and API Signature into the registration form on this site when filling it out. It should look similar to the example below:
